(EN) Graines Urbaines is a third place designed to reconnect city dwellers with nature. Conceived as a resource center and a community garden, this project transforms the urban concrete landscape into a vibrant, educational, and sustainable space. Spanning an entire year, this master’s thesis project encompasses the communication strategy, the creation of the visual identity, wayfinding, printed materials, social media, and merchandising.

To convey this warm energy, the identity is based on a trio of mascots that embody mutual support and collaboration. The color palette breaks with the usual conventions of vegetable gardens: deep green and earthy burgundy evoke the soil and biodiversity, while a bright yellow, a vibrant orange, and a soft purple add a festive and sunny touch. The overall look is balanced by a natural off-white and structured in particular by the Chillax typeface, which brings a sense of modernity and friendliness through its rounded forms.
